I’ve been working in advertising for more than 25 years and have been fortunate enough to do my thing as a copywriter and art director in amazing countries like New Zealand, the United States and Australia. Originally from Minnesota, I cut my teeth at my dream agency, Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis. All through university, I had their work for Harley Davidson, Porsche and Schwinn Bicycles plastered on my walls. While I was at Carmichael Lynch, I soaked up everything I could from the creatives I’d idolised for years. What I found was that, not only were they insanely talented, but some of the best ones were also genuinely kind, humble and authentic humans who cared deeply about those around them. It’s something I’ve never forgotten and it’s informed my career journey ever since. Outside of work, I’m a hack musician, baseball coach, husband and father. But certainly not in that order.
